Would you be willing to make a big difference in the lives of 100,000 Haitian people. We have a proposal to build 1 village to demonstrate what we can do with the hope that we could build the other 300 villages each containing 42 homes. We have 46 people trained who would teach and provide job skills while providing homes, food, and an opportunity to become apart of a self-sustaining and thriving community. It would literally pave the way for the Haitian people to rebuild their villages and provide economic recovery. I need to discuss this with the people in the summit who want to know what to do but don’t have the expertise to put it into practice because that is not what they do. We possess those skills.

Managing marine fisheries demands uncommon strategy to sustain common large marine ecosystem. It has users who misuse and overuse. It is vast and is activated by international and local laws difficult to converge. It demands change.

Marine management has absorbed many approaches and strategies from land based strategies that are for production and used them for harvesting marine resources resulting into overuse and misuse. But the strategies of marine management sounds sustainable provided the users have the capacity to understand and integrate them.
